They’re always out there grazing, wandering around, and occasionally stopping by to say hello from across the fence. There’s just something about waking up to a peaceful view of the pond, the trees, and a few cows in the pasture that makes the whole place feel a little more like a getaway. 🌿✨

From eating at the pizzeria in Belleville to shopping at the Depot Market in Courtland to driving back roads all the way home & taking in the scenery... we couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing, amazing last 24 hours! No TV, sitting on the front porch chatting last night, listening to the crickets & the silence... all of it is what we needed!"*

Before the porch swings, the sunsets, and the cozy cabins, there's something else waiting to be noticed.

A feather resting on the path. 🌾

Sometimes the smallest details are the ones that slow us down enough to appreciate God's handiwork. Every walk around Rocky Pond holds tiny reminders that beauty isn't always loud. Sometimes it's tucked quietly along the trail, just waiting for someone to notice.

🇺🇸 We may be a couple of days late, but the sentiment is just the same!

Happy (belated) Fourth of July from the Samples family and all of us at The Cabins at Rocky Pond! We hope your weekend was filled with family, laughter, good food, fireworks, and grateful hearts.
