Founded by members of the Swedish Tabernacle Church, SAMBICA is now a not-for-profit, non-denominational Christian camp and event center. Over the last 102 years, SAMBICA has worked hard to achieve the current level of high-quality programs that benefit our campers and the surrounding community. SAMBICA is no longer a remote camp nestled in the woods; it is now immersed in suburbia. SAMBICA’s 30+

buildings are spread over 9 acres on the shores of Lake Sammamish in Bellevue, Washington. Today, SAMBICA offers youth summer camps and retreat ministries. SAMBICA provides both overnight camps, day camps, and a high school leadership program (ELITE) during the summer months. Approximately 100 staff members are hired each summer to run the camp operations in roles such as counselors, lifeguards, boat drivers, and kitchen staff. Over 2,200 children attend SAMBICA’s summer programs each year. During the fall, winter, and spring seasons SAMBICA serves other nonprofit organizations, schools, and churches through hospitality programs. SAMBICA’s quality food, great customer service, and convenient location provide the perfect setting for reflection, relaxation, and team building.

Thank you Jesus for an incredible mission trip to Mazatlán, Mexico!

IGNITE, Sambica’s high-school discipleship program, encourages and equips students who are hungry to deepen their faith and invest in God-honoring community! For the past couple months, these students have learned about who God is, what it means to live in his love, how the Bible reveals God’s love for us, and more! Two weeks ago, these students practiced boldness evangelizing, serving alongside a variety of ministries, and interceding on behalf of the city! God truly ignited the faith of our team on this trip!

And a big thanks to all the people at for being the most loving and inspiring hosts!!
