Country Dome Suites Book at www.countrydomesuites.com We are dome nerds, and have been fascinated with the architecture and engineering of these structures for years.

In 2016, my sister (Jen) and I (Cindy) with our husbands, James and Wayne, decided to combine our skills, ideas, and talents in a joint venture of creating Country Dome Suites. We weren't satisfied with just building the structures, we wanted to create an exceptional lodging experience. We purchased our land in 2016, created our business plan with help from Blinn's Small Business Development Cente

r, took our proposal to Citizens State Bank in 2019, which was accepted, and then began excavation that fall. 2020 was a year of adventure for us. We hired Monolothic Domes from Italy, Texas to build our shell structures, and then with Wayne as our general contractor, we with our families have built Country Dome Suites. We love serving others and desired to create a stay that would be comfortable and convenient for all of our guests. As a boutique hotel we are something unique, something outside the mold of your conventional hotel. We have eleven individual suites with our personalized mark in them . All have keyless entry and none share walls, floors, or ceilings. Our suites surround a grass courtyard, and the feeling you get as you enter the grounds is that of walking into a safe haven. One man told us that late one night as he walked from his truck towards the center of the courtyard, he just had to walk slowly. He was overcome with a feeling he was trying to name. He realized that the whole scene just made him feel safe and welcome, that he was at home here. That is our goal. We have created a get-away where you can feel safe. A place that you feel welcome. A place where you feel wanted. At Country Dome Suites we have embraced the motto... escape BUSY and revel in SIMPLE. There is no television, Wi-Fi (our cell phone reception is excellent and those with data on their phone have had 5 bar service), or telephone land lines. We did this on purpose. Here you can unplug, read a good book, enjoy the country, watch the sunsets, be awed by the spring wildflowers, utilize the two comfortable camping chairs in your suite to sit around a firepit or go star gazing, play board and card games, spend meaningful time with others, drive or cycle the back roads, visit and support the many wonderful small businesses in the surrounding communities, and just take time to breathe. We are conveniently located just off hwy 36 between Brenham and Bellville and less than 2 minutes from the well-known eatery, The Kenney Store. Please visit our website for more information.
