One of our longtime resort families found themselves on the fish-cleaning table with a pile of beautiful walleyes and some slab crappies to go with them.

The fish are active, the weather is warming, and summer is just getting started at Joe’s Lodge.

Fun to catch — especially with this crew who always seems to know exactly where to find them 😎🐟

The walleyes are definitely out there… you can see all those glowing eyes at night 👀 but they’ve been pretty selective about when they want to bite lately.

Water temps are climbing, and next week’s forecast looks beautiful ☀️
Which means it won’t be long until the inflatables go back in the water… 👀🤩

Fishing opener may have been a little slow with the cold water temps, but that just means the best fishing is still ahead! 🎣
The walleyes are taking their time this spring — and we’re excited for what’s to come in the next few weeks.

In the meantime, we’ve been enjoying seeing some perch hit the leaderboard already… including this little angler’s catch 💛

We’re also excited to finally share a peek inside the brand new camp baths!
✔️ 3 large private bathrooms with showers
✔️ A clean, comfortable spot to utilize after a long day on the lake
✔️Polished concrete floors with slab hear
✔️ And yes… those are Speed Queen washers and dryers! 👀

Huge thank you to S&D Appliance for helping us outfit the space. And Juleson Pulmbing and Heating 😁

We can’t wait to see guests enjoying the upgraded facilities this season at Joe’s Lodge.

• Laundry room with 3 coin-op washer & dryer sets
• Solid concrete walls—built to double as a storm shelter
