We had such a blast at our BYOP party this past weekend, hot dogs, snow cones and great company! Especially with the surprise at the end.. A foam party for the kiddos! 🥳
The weather was perfect, a nice breeze was blowing a storm in, and right as we finished putting everything up that evening, the storms let loose and washed all the foam away for us. 😀

Thanks to everyone who came out, let's do it again next year!

This 4th of July hits a little extra special as we celebrate 250 years of American independence. Two and a half centuries of freedom, families, communities, and the traditions that bring us all together.

Here at Big Tex, the weekend looks like what we love most! Grills fired up with burgers and hot dogs, co****le tournaments that get a little too competitive, gooey smores', giant Jenga towers living dangerously, and plenty of water fun to keep cool in the Texas heat.

As the sun sets, campfires glow, stars come out, and we’re reminded how lucky we are to slow down and enjoy moments like these.

Whether you're spending the holiday here at the campground, at home with family, or watching fireworks light up the night sky from afar, (Just not here on the grounds, 😂) we’re grateful you’re part of it. Wherever you are, we hope your day is filled with good food, good company, and a little gratitude for the freedoms we share.
