Apparently the stars sent mixed signals this year… because SOME calendars said today was Spring Astronomy Day and others said it already passed in April. So if you hear us celebrating late, just blame Mercury for the paperwork. 🪐😂

Either way, there’s no bad time to look up. If you're someone who loves spotting constellations, waiting on a shooting star, or just sitting outside listening to frogs sing backup vocals to the crickets, tonight feels like a good excuse to enjoy the sky a little longer.

New Openings at Big Tex Campgrounds

✨ A rare lineup just opened up… and each site offers something a little different.

If you’ve been waiting for the right spot, this is a great time to find your fit.

🌅 Sites 55 & 56 – Pond View in Progress (Available Now)
These two sites sit along our newest feature and offer a front-row view as the pond comes to life.

Perfect for anyone who enjoys watching a project unfold and especially fun for kiddos who love construction trucks. You’ll be up on the embankment, close enough to see the action, but far enough away to avoid the dust and noise. Each is unique in their own way and offer different views so it would be best to take a tour to pick one out!

🌿 Site 57 – Spacious & Front Row (Available March 4th)
Also along the pond line, Site 57 stands out as the largest site in this row and super shady, giving you extra room to spread out while still enjoying the evolving view.

If you like space and a front-row seat to something new, this one checks both boxes.

🏕️ Site 22 – Easy Living Pull-Through (Coming Soon)
Located in the heart of Big Tex Campgrounds, Site 22 offers the kind of easy, practical comfort that makes everyday campground living simple.
Its a pull-through which makes setup easy, especially for larger rigs, and its central location means you’re close to everything that matters, including the dog park, making it an excellent fit for pet owners.
