Did you know our lava tube was completely invisible from the surface until construction crews found it? As the property was being shaped, blasting near what would become the 8th hole exposed a cave running directly across the planned path of the hole.

In the mid-2000s, a project coordinator for Pronghorn Club's developer set up his field office about 100 yards into the east lava tube, working by propane heat and light; he split his time there while coordinating with both the Nicklaus and Fazio design teams on course routing.
