I’ve lost track of the number of times I’ve said, “weird times, man” over the last year and a half because, well, it’s been weird. Getting more visits in at our little —because remote school and work made that a possibility—has been a bonus in all the weirdness. Our fall calendar is open, if you’re also looking to getaway in the coming months. ✨

We had a chance to get some quality river time in with some years-long to decades-long friends this weekend and it went by way too fast. ❤️

We just have the best guests. I get to chat with most before, during and after their stay. I hear their stories, learn why they’re getting away, share in their celebrations, follow them on Instagram and happily welcome them back over and over. One recent guest and I shared many nice chats and this painting she left for us made our day. Thanks , it’s a framer. 🖤
