✨Meet the New Owners of Lava Lake RV Resort✨
A few years ago, Travis and Meagan pulled into Lava Lake, grabbed a beer from the camp store, sat by the water, and started dreaming.
You know the kind of dream. The one that feels impossible... but you can’t quite let go of.
At the time, they were just visitors. But something about Lava Lake felt different.
A few twists, turns, and unexpected opportunities later, they found themselves spending summers here as camp hosts. With each season, they fell more in love, not just with the lake, but with the people who have made Lava Lake part of their family traditions for decades.
Then came the opportunity of a lifetime.
Last year, they were given the chance to purchase the campground they had once only dreamed of owning.
It wasn’t without obstacles. There were moments when the dream felt out of reach. But they were determined not to let this special place slip away.
In mid summer of 2025, that dream became reality.
Today, Travis and Meagan are officially the owners and stewards of Lava Lake RV Resort, and this is their very first full season at the helm.
And because every good adventure needs a great supporting cast, their best friend Luke sold his house, left his job, packed up his dog Bear, hooked up his trailer, and moved into the camp host spot to help bring the vision to life.
This season is just the beginning.
The goal isn’t to change what people love about Lava Lake. It’s to preserve it, care for it, and slowly breathe new life into a place that has meant so much to so many for generations.
There are a lot of dreams still ahead.
