Another piece of the Ferncrest Ocoee experience is taking shape.

Meet The Camp Store!

Tucked into the center of the property near our bathhouse and pathways to the domes, our Camp Store is being designed around one simple idea, making your time in the mountains easier.

Once complete, guests will have 24/7 self-service access to firewood, ice, S’mores kits, camping essentials and Ferncrest Ocoee merchandise.

Because when you’re settled in for the evening, the fire is going and the mountains are getting quiet, the last thing we want you to have to do is leave because you forgot something.

There’s still more work ahead, including the front deck, canopy and firewood storage, but we’re getting closer every day.

Your escape to the Ocoee is taking shape.

One of the things we love most about the Ocoee area? There’s a whole lot more to your stay than just where you sleep.

Something special is taking shape in the Tennessee woods.

We know we’ve been a little quiet lately, but it definitely hasn’t been quiet here at Ocoee Glampin - Ferncrest Ocoee!

Behind the scenes, we’ve been building, painting, tiling, trenching, planning and working through the hundreds of details it takes to turn 25 acres in the woods into the experience we’ve been dreaming about.

Our bathhouse is getting closer. Glamping platforms are rising through the trees. And very soon, our Camp Store will arrive on property.

The Ferncrest team can’t wait for the day when these construction photos turn into pictures of campfires, morning coffee on the deck, hot tubs under the stars and guests making memories in Ocoee.

Until then, we’ll keep building.

❤️ Giving Back to Our Community

One of the things I admire most about Michelle is that no matter how busy life gets, she always feels called to give back.

Today, while construction continues at Ferncrest Ocoee, Michelle spent the day volunteering through the Polk County Chamber of Commerce, helping prepare hundreds of back-to-school supply bags for local students.

As members of the Chamber, we believe being part of a community means more than owning a business, it means showing up for the people who call it home.

Ferncrest Ocoee is being built one platform, one cabin, and one guest experience at a time. But we also hope to build something even bigger, a business that gives back and becomes a positive part of the Ocoee Region for years to come.

We’re proud of Michelle for representing Ferncrest Ocoee today and helping students start the school year with the supplies they need to succeed.

Sometimes the most meaningful progress doesn’t happen on a construction site.

A New Chapter Begins!

While the name has changed, our passion for creating unforgettable outdoor experiences remains the same. Ocoee Glampin is the company behind the vision, development, and operation of our mountain hospitality projects, including Ferncrest Ocoee.

One year ago, I shared that Ryan and I took a leap and purchased Ocoee Campin’—our first campground. A beautiful 25-acre property tucked into the trees of Southeast Tennessee, surrounded by the adventures we love and the natural beauty of the Cherokee National Forest.
This week, we’re feeling really grateful to be celebrating our first full year as property owners.
This past year, we kept things simple and operated the land as-is—25 acres with 3 cabins, primitive camping, and a bathhouse. More than anything, it gave us time to slow down, pay attention, and really get to know the land—what worked, what didn’t, and what it could become. We learned a lot from listening, observing, and experiencing the land through all four seasons, along with helpful feedback from our guests.
Now in 2026, we’re fully committed to bringing those notes and our vision to life.
We have officially rebranded to Ferncrest Ocoee, and we’re transforming the property into a unique outdoor hospitality destination—designed to offer a one-of-a-kind camping experience under the trees, where comfort meets nature.
Phase 1 of our buildout includes:
• 9 geo domes
• Renovated modern cabins
• A refreshed, more comfortable bathhouse with additional private outdoor showers
• A self-checkout camp store
• Sauna and hot tubs
• Intentionally designed walking/hiking trails woven throughout the tree lined property
This is just Phase 1.
We’re building toward a 3-phase vision over the next few years—focused on creating a destination that not only offers a memorable guest experience but also supports and connects with the surrounding local community businesses.
