We are looking forward to the beginning of our upcoming prayer retreats! Some of you have asked if there’s still room in our June women’s retreat—the answer is yes, and you are going to thank yourself that you set aside the time to be here. These are some of the elements that will be part of our June retreat:

* Guided silence—learning to enter quiet with intention
Lectio Divina—slow, prayerful reading of Scripture
* Guided group discussion around a theme or question
* Journaling with focused prompts
* One-on-one prayer—receiving personal prayer from our prayer team upon request
* The Examen—a brief evening reflection on where God showed up in the day

We work with each retreat member before arrival to understand how we can best customize the retreat for the group. This isn’t about having a packed schedule—honestly, we are hoping for the opposite!

If some of these practices are new to you, we are here to guide you. It’s going to be relaxing, transformative, and fun.

As we continue to “cook up” (pun fully intended) all the details for our upcoming Women’s Prayer Retreat, we thought you could help us make some decisions on some of the foods we will be enjoying—starting with breakfast!
