Hello Campers!

We’re excited to welcome you to the 2026 camping season and wanted to share a few important updates regarding LWBC.

1. Primitive Camping Pricing Update
The price for primitive camping has increased for 2026. This change is mainly due to damage sustained at several primitive campsites over the past few years. Please note that the 2026 rate now includes up to six people, rather than two as in previous seasons.

2. Protecting Our Property
The photos below show examples of damage caused by campers during the 2025 season. While this does not reflect the behavior of most of our guests, we did experience several incidents last year. Our trees and land are very important to us—each tree was planted by our family, and we take pride in watching them grow. We kindly ask that you help us take care of the property so we can continue providing a beautiful and memorable camping experience for everyone.

If you’ve spent any time at LWBC, then you know Kritter 💙 — better known to some as Officer Munson, K9 handler to our four-legged friend, the magnificent Boone. 🐾 Boone isn’t just a partner to Kritter; he’s family, and he’s become such an important part of Kritter’s life. The bond they share is something truly special to witness — built on trust, loyalty, and a whole lot of love. 💛
