Poplar Lodge Since we passed the old home onto new owners, this page is more of a collection of all my favorite things in Northwest Michigan where I love, love, love!

Wake up early, the sun is coming over the lake and the bacon's frying, or just sleeping in. Walk out to your own beach on Crystal Lake. Take a refreshing swim to the "blue line" and back just to see if you still have it. Spend the day golfing, fishing, or water skiing. Expl

ore the pristine North Michigan country side. Buy a cherry pie. Visit Gwen Frostic's print shop. Drive 15 minutes to Frankfort on Lake Michigan for cute shops and restaurants. Take a day trip to Traverse City or the Lelanau Peninsula and visit the antique shops. Don't forget a memento. Then, finish the day roasting marshmallows on your own private beach. The memories of Beulah will bring you back year after year like we have. Then your kids will ask, "when are we going to Crystal Lake?"
