The House on Park The House on Park is a thoughtfully restored home filled with original art, cozy beds & creative comfort — a place to slow down and stay awhile.

Guests often ask about the artwork throughout the house. Many pieces are available through The House Galleries This beautiful house on Park Avenue has been the home to only 7 owners: the builder, a cranberry baron, lumber magnate, a doctor, lawyer, judge and now an ex advertising creative director. The home is too beautiful not to share! It is now open for all who are interested in a wonderful weekend place to stay with all the comforts of home. Currently there are two bedrooms with attached baths available for your weekend getaways. Central Park Suite: Queen bed with sitting room. South and West views over the park, and sunlight makes this room bright and beautiful. Bath includes shower with jet tub. Upper East Side Room: Queen bed with East view over the patio. Attached bath with shower. Amenities: Cable & WIFI in room, Coffee and Scones for breakfast, Honor Bar is available during your stay.

Not me. Ozzy.

Around 5pm she starts tailing my every move. Through the kitchen, back to the living room, into the kitchen again. Eyes locked on me. The occasional oink.

(She was born on a farm. Never quite learned to meow. We don't talk about it.)

Already in the chair — or on the counter, supervising, depending on whether Mark has the sq**rt gun handy.

Sphere ice. Perfect glass. Blue cheese olives, stuffed by hand. Non negotiable.

Ozzy watches all of this very carefully...
She has her own agenda. A little nip. A little treat. That's what this has always been about.

The martini, the bourbon, the whole production — just something she has to sit through first.

Hosed down, neem oiled, bug dropped, fed.

You'd think after all these years I'd have a plan.

The ferns are on notice.

I love them...

Happy first day of fall!

I used to love this season.

Then Mark planted the best garden in the world…and now it’s dying.

Garden grief is real.

Crispy dead leaves. Mushy tomatoes. The occasional burst of color…on the ground.

Guess its time for me to keep it alive a little longer on canvas…

And maybe add it to the show in February?
