In observance of Earth Day 🌎 🌱🌳 2022 our General Manager- Jeff Woods, Assistant General Manager- Chase Pullum and Guest Services Manager- Octavia Buggs all set time aside to visit a nearby garden center and celebrate the Earth by learning about various type of plants and flowers that are sold there.

They then purchased some of the plants 🪴 and flowers 💐 and took them to Trinity Elms Assisted Living facility on behalf of the hotel staff and brightened the residents and staff members days up by bringing a touch of Spring indoors to them. The smiles 😁 on their faces were priceless! 💰 🚫

We were so glad to have this amazing 🤩 opportunity to give back to our local community!

Currently we’re looking for a Guest Services Representative/Night Auditor to assist guests with their requests and balance accounts from the day shift.

Guest Service Representative/Night Auditor responsibilities include checking in guests, checking out guests, providing information on hotel services and amenities, providing information on our local area, and taking reservations.

This individual also reconciles all accounts, and processes invoices. Ultimately, you will provide excellent customer service to guests and keep the front desk and accounting operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities

* Check in guests, answer phones and take reservations
* Check out guests-ensuring the accuracy of their bill
*Respond to guest complaints, requests and emergencies
*Provide information to guests regarding hotel services/amenities and our local area
*Reconcile accounts
*Balance the cash drawer and log receipts
*Investigate and resolve out-of-balance accounts
*Keep accurate financial records and ledgers
*Help prepare for forecasts and audits

Skills

*Proven experience as a Night Auditor, Guest Service Representative, or in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry
*Excellent math skills
*An eye for detail
*Good problem-solving skills
*Strong customer service skills
*The ability to multitask
*Strong written and verbal communication skills
*Availability to work overnight

Preferred Availability

Ideal FULL TIME candidate would be available to work two Night Audit shifts (11pm-7am) AND three flexible shifts(7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm) weekly
Ideal PART TIME candidate would be available to work either of the above schedules

Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour

He’s making a list 📝, he’s checking ✅ it twice. He’s gonna find out who’s naughty 😈 or nice 😇.

Well in the process of making his list, Santa 🎅🎄ran across our beloved Breakfast 🥞 🥓 Attendant, Ms. Kaye’s name on the nice 😇 📝 list, which would probably explain why she is our Employee of the Month.

Everyone join me in congratulating 🎉 🎈 Kaye for all she does! She is such a vital part of our team and it wouldn’t be the same without her.

Our Breakfast with Santa event was a HUGE hit yesterday!!!

Glad our guests and community were able to partake in this special event. Shout-out to The Real Santa-Ken Sharpe for making the first of what we hope to be many more holiday appearances. We loved seeing our lobby filled with plenty of smiles and holiday cheer.

Today’s the day!!!

You’re invited to Breakfast with The Real Santa-Ken Sharpe this morning from 8 AM-10 AM. Hotel guests are invited to enjoy our complimentary On The House Breakfast and get in the holiday spirit by having your picture taken with Santa! The event will also feature a Hot Chocolate Bar.

For non-hotel guests, there will be a $5 charge to attend the event, enjoy our On The House Breakfast, Hot Chocolate Bar and take pictures with Santa. Non-hotel guests should stop by the front desk in our lobby to pay your $5 dollar admittance fee and receive a wristband to attend the event.

We had so much fun celebrating the holiday season, as well as our successes as a team this year with all of our team members at today’s Holiday Party!

We had a wonderful lunch catered by Venezia Italian Restaurant, recognized our December Employee of the Month- our AMAZING Breakfast Attendant Ms.Kaye, had a Secret Santa exchange, and played some Holiday themed games.

Of course we had to finish the festivities out with some pictures by our lobby Christmas tree. 🎅🎄
