No frilly doiles here, but you will get a clean, comfortable room, a restful night’s sleep and a delicious served breakfast each morning of your stay. Caught a really unique (and a little eerie) view from the brewery today. Usually, the mountains are the star of the show here, but the wildfire smoke has completely blanked out the horizon. It’s a strange reminder of how interconnected everything is—even thousands of miles away. Food and drinks were fantastic as always, but it’s definitely a view we won't forget anytime soon. How does the sky look where you are?

COMING SOON! We are so excited to be starting an update to our outdoor seating and relaxation area! The back deck has always been a place where guests can unwind, and we know this renovation will make it even more inviting. We’ll post construction updates as we go along, but in the meantime, pardon our dust while we create a better experience!

We’re having a great time at the Mid Atlantic Innkeeper Conference in Gettysburg this week!  

I stopped by to chat with Paula from Turkish Towel Company. We’ve used their quality products for years, and it was time for a re-order! We’re always looking for little ways to make the guest experience at Waypoint House even more comfortable and memorable, and these towels and robes definitely fit the bill.

Running a bed and breakfast means constantly learning, discovering new ideas, and finding special touches that make a stay feel extra welcoming. We can’t wait to bring some inspiration back to the B+B!

I seem to have developed a hobby of propagating jade plates! What started as one small plant 13 years ago has now turned into literally dozens of smaller plants and one very large, healthy mother plant. It required setting up a small grow room this winter to keep everyone thriving. It’s been a pleasure to visit these little plants on the cold, dreary winter days. Watering, pruning, repotting. As I watch the days growing longer, I’m looking forward to the time when I can move them back out to the potting shed and give them some more space!
