Leadership development looks different for every organization. For ours, it means going beyond strategy and results, it means investing in the people behind them.

Today, our corporate leadership team gathered for a facilitated Enneagram session led by Janis Milham and Jennie Benzon of Questage. Together, we reviewed our team's findings, shared candid insights, and explored how to apply this framework in a meaningful leadership context.

The Enneagram is a powerful tool to truly help unlock your full potential. It deepens self-awareness, builds empathy, and creates a shared language for how we lead, collaborate, and navigate complexity together.

Thank you to Janis and Jennie for guiding us through such a thoughtful and impactful session. We left with clarity, connection, and a shared language for how we lead and stay grounded in trust.

As we wrap National Self Care Month, we are grateful for our team at The Spa at The University of Maryland and their impactful partnership with Casey Cares, a non-profit that works to provide support to critically ill children and their families. Casey Cares will choose one caregiver a month through its network of families to receive a complimentary service at the Spa.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Shanna Wisniewski, the General Manager at The Spa, and Erin Ritter, the Deputy Director of Casey Cares. Their efforts have been instrumental in turning this meaningful partnership into a reality, positively affecting and uplifting the lives of so many individuals and families in need. And a special thank you WMAR-2 News for highlighting the work that we are doing.

This rotation is designed to provide them with invaluable hands-on experience across each and every discipline within our organization.

Our team at The Spa at The Hotel at the University of Maryland introduced it's new Quiet Care Initiative, a community-focused program designed to provide moments of rest and restoration for caregivers of critically ill children on Living Local DMV. In partnership with Casey Cares Foundation, the Quiet Care Initiative offers one complimentary spa service each month to a selected caregiver.

By combining wellness with meaningful community partnership, The Spa at The Hotel at The University of Maryland aims to offer more than relaxation; it offers permission to pause and truly care for yourself.
