⚠️ Be prepared for wet wintery weather if you're planning to be in Big Bear Lake for the few days! The National Weather Service forecasts that Big Bear Lake could receive a mix of rain and snow between Tuesday night and Thursday night. Little to no snow accumulation is expected. Southwest winds of 20-30 mph with gusts of 45-60 mph are anticipated.

🚧 City staff is closely monitoring the weather conditions. As a reminder, our Public Works staff and contract support crews only plow City-maintained streets when snow accumulation reaches 3 inches or more.

🗺️ We want to remind motorists to monitor road conditions and closures frequently with the Caltrans QuickMap tool, exercise caution while driving in the mountains during inclement weather, and carry appropriately sized tire chains or cables.
