Great Story!

In Big Bear Lake, California, locals were moved to tears after discovering two orphaned bear cubs huddled together beside the town’s famous Big Bear statue. The cubs, cold and frightened, had reportedly lost their mother to a car accident nearby. When rescuers arrived, they found the little ones curled up against the base of the statue as if seeking protection from the giant stone bear towering above them.

Wildlife officials gently captured the cubs and brought them to a rehabilitation center, where they’re now being cared for until they’re old enough to return to the wild. Residents have started calling them “Hope” and “Spirit,” names that perfectly capture their story of survival.

The moment has touched the community deeply, reminding everyone how closely their mountain town’s name and heart are tied to the animals that share it.
