This place is a hidden gem deserves more exposure! Sharon the manger of these cottages was absolutely wonderful. She made us feel like we were her guest in her home. The place was nice and clean. I forgot my bath wash, but everything I needed was provided in the bathroom. We used the gas grill and had steaks and chicken. They provided the tools for the grill. The landscape was nice and clean. I definitely recommend this spot. And at nearby restaurants if you say you're staying at blue horizon you get a discount.

If you're not sure where to go for your stay at Big Bear believe me when I say this is it! The place is clean, has all basic necessities and even more. I went with my husband and 6 year old daughter. The cottages themselves are awesome, they have a kitchen, living room, cable tv, xbox, 2 bedrooms, i mean seriously it's a mini home. The best! I could probably spend all day in there. Outside there's a pool, playground, an area to play tether ball, badminton, ping pong etc. And the customer service is unlike anywhere else. If we needed anything that we didn't have they would make sure they provided it! They were so kind and did everything with a smile. It just doesn't get any better than this place! Hopefully we'll be back soon :)

We love the New Blue Horizon Lodge in Big Bear we have stayed in three separate lodges now and they all have a warm and cozy feel. They are central to old down town shops. During our summers stays we love their pool, volleyball court, and eating dinner outside in the courtyard. In the winter the cabin's are cozy and have fireplaces. Not far from good sledding and the slops! We say try the New Blue Horizon Lodge it's your new home in the Mountains.
