Upcoming Events
Welcome Back Party and Karaoke: Join us on Saturday for the Welcome Back Party, followed by the requested karaoke event. The Welcome Back Party is at the Activity Building, with chips, dips, and margaritas All members are invited! Coordinators, Committees and Teams are encouraged to attend to represent your groups, activities and events and be available with information about what you bring to Carefree for people to attend. Donations will be accepted.

Dance of the Decades: Get your tickets now for Saturday, June 6. This promises to be one of the season’s biggest events.

Shamble Tournament: Tickets are still available, so gather your team and take part in this fun new tournament format.

Fashion Show Luncheon: This event has been tentatively rescheduled for July 12. More details will be shared next week.
45th Anniversary and Time Capsule
We are collecting photos and memorabilia for our 45th Anniversary events scheduled throughout the summer. Items may be left at the Welcome Center. Please label anything you would like returned. For questions, contact Donna Grochow or Anda Campion.
Please also start thinking about items that represent our era for the 2026 time capsule, which will be buried later this season. On July 4, we will open the 1996 time capsule, and Root Beer Floats will be served. The location will be announced later.
Volunteers and Donations Needed
July 4 Food Stand Coordinator: We need two volunteers to coordinate the hot dog, brat, and hamburger stand after the parade. An outline is available, so much of the planning has already been done.
Kids Bingo Prizes: Donations for July 4 Kids Bingo can be dropped off at the Welcome Center or the Activities Office, or you may contact Bonnie Dill.
Monthly Cookouts: If there is interest in continuing the monthly cookouts, we need a coordinator. Please contact Donna Grochow if you are interested.
Committee Meeting
The Activity Committee will meet this Thursday at 3:00 PM in the Clubhouse Boardroom. Everyone is welcome to attend.
