Coal Mine Coulee XC

Coal Mine Coulee XC The Coal Mine Coulee XC will take place 6.5 miles east of Big Sandy, Montana at the foothills of the Bears Paw Mountains. A real treat for spectators.

Coal Mine Coulee race will be a difficult 20+ mile race through large sand rock formations, narrow rocky ravines, creek bottoms, and rolling hills. There isn’t a flat spot on the place other than on the camping site which provides plenty of room and an excellent panoramic view of the race. Concessions will be available on site and the nearest motel is in Big Sandy with other lodging available 40 miles away in Havre. Cash payouts will be awarded to the top riders.
