Plaskett Creek Campground

Plaskett Creek Campground Camping and outdoor recreation. Group and single family sites. Sand Dollar Beach, the largest sand All sites are grassy. Flush toilets and water are available.

Plaskett Creek Campground and Group Campground is located on Hwy 1, approximately 40 miles south of Monterey and 30 miles north of San Simeon in Southern Big Sur, CA. The campground has a park like setting, under a scattered canopy of Monterey Pine and Cypress Trees. Plaskett Creek Campground is across the street from Sand Dollar Beach, the largest sandy beach in the Big Sur area. Each Family site

has a picnic table, barbecue and fire-ring. Firewood is sold at campground. Reservations can be made up to 6 months in advance and at least 3 days in advance for family sites, and 1 year and at least 3 days in advance for Group Sites at https://www.recreation.gov/camping/plaskett-creek-campground/r/campgroundDetails.do?contractCode=NRSO&parkId=70161 or by calling 877-444-6777.

We are OPEN even though Hwy 1 is not open to drive all the way through. You can get to us from the South, Hwy one is closed just past Kirk Creek Campground. It is prime campfire weather under the stars to hang with friends.
