When The Belvedere was purchased, the goal was never simply to remodel an old building. It was to preserve one. 🤍

And sometimes, preserving history means stripping away layer after layer before you can bring the original beauty back to life.

In the lobby alone, so much had to be carefully removed, uncovered, repaired and refinished. There were extra steps, extra hurdles and plenty of moments when starting fresh probably would’ve been easier, but keeping the character of this building was worth it.

We’re not trying to make The Belvedere look old. We’re doing everything we can to honor what was already here.

This progress shot may not look “finished” yet, but knowing where it started makes it pretty incredible. ✨
