Patient ambassador Ryan is attending PennWest Edinboro, where he is pursuing a degree in education with the goal of becoming a teacher. Inspired by the dedicated teachers, therapists and mentors who helped shape his journey, including the team at Shriners Children's Erie, Ryan hopes to make the same positive impact on the lives of others.

Having received therapy throughout his childhood at Shriners Children's Erie, Ryan understands the power of encouragement, perseverance and setting goals. Now, he's working toward a future where he can help children reach their full potential, just as so many people helped him achieve his.
