Before streaming services, we had cable TV and VHS tapes.

You couldn't watch whatever you wanted whenever you wanted. You watched what was on, when it was on. Missing your favorite show meant waiting for a rerun—or hoping someone remembered to record it on a VHS tape.

Friday nights meant a trip to the video store, carefully picking out movies before all the good ones were gone. And if you forgot to rewind the tape before returning it? You might get a reminder at the counter. 😄

There was something special about flipping through channels, discovering a movie halfway through, and watching it anyway.

Who remembers programming the VCR, recording shows, or having a shelf full of VHS tapes? 📼✨
