Our Event Center space is an antique barn addition directly attached to our home and Bed & Breakfast. It functions both as a great room/family room for us and our guests, but also can handle up to 45 people for an event. The antique barn that resides inside of the ‘new barn’ was originally located in the nearby town of Brill where it had served as hay storage and a small milking barn since being built in the 1890s. It was taken down piece by piece in 2014 and reconstructed inside of our new space. It even has it’s original overhead hay trolley and an assortment of eclectic farm and Barron County-related artifacts as part of the decor! We added recovered maple flooring and modern windows as well as full insulation, heating and cooling, and electric to make a unique space unlike anything in the Four Corners area.

We would love to host your small intimate wedding, corporate retreat, graduation party, family reunion, quilter’s weekend, or whatever idea you have in mind! Call us for availability, rates and details on planning your next event!

Our newest room, the Fiesta Suite, is now available for guests! Featuring a queen bed plus a single in a two-room suite setup, this space has a comforting coziness overlooking the south yard and garden. There are plenty of booking dates open for the rest of summer and right into the fall! Thank you to all of those hikers that stayed with us over the summer in this crazy season! We loved being a quiet respite location in the country to ease your mind and muscles while enjoying excellent access to the Ice Age Trail.
Our guests this past weekend spent Sunday on the Bear Lake Segment just north and west of us (about a 20 minute drive to the west end of the segment). They did an out-and-back (5.4 mile one-way) of nearly 11 miles and thoroughly enjoyed it! [see the photos below!]

One of the last good days for fall leaf colors and vistas, although the trails around here are still great for a hike anytime. They only saw a couple other hikers the entire day. This Bear Lake Segment along with the Tuscobia Segment and Hemlock Creek Segment are the most accessible trails from our Bed & Breakfast.

If you're looking for a night or two (or more!) to check out some segments in the rural countryside of NW Wisconsin - or just to enjoy a peaceful getaway weekend - consider a stay with us!
