With the creation of REA Co-ops electricity was brought to the rural ag communities of the Great Plains. Soon homes and farms became easier to run. I imagine old farmers staring at the poles, transformers and wires with the same awe as we would a server farm. The poles lining the road ditch’s as functional sculptures of science and the modern age. “The new age”
