🥳 Thanks to the overwhelming support of our team members and community partners, we collected more than 2,600 school supplies items for the students and teachers at Gilpin County School! 🙌
That incredible total was made possible through our hefty donations collected at our property, a generous $1,000 donation from Walmart in Evergreen, and the support and participation of Monarch and Ameristar.
In addition to the supplies collected, the City of Black Hawk and the Silver Dollar Metropolitan District contributed $2,000 each, totaling $4,000 to Gilpin County School, further expanding the impact we were able to make for local students and families.
With over 2,600 items, $4,000 in community funding, and multiple properties coming together, we truly created an incredible foundation to build on. We are excited to announce that Fill the Bus will be an annual tradition, with the support of the Mayor and City of Black Hawk!
