Since the monthly theme was "rain" for a camera club I belong to, I decided to try to capture the rain in the Smoky Mountains from the deck of my second home -- Cabin in the Clouds!

It's always a day to visit Chimney Rock at Chimney Rock State Park!!!

Looks like the Park is greening up just in time for St. Patrick’s Day!

Join us this Saturday, March 21st, from 9:00 AM -11:00 AM for our Naturalist Niche: Spring Ephemerals hike! You will learn all about the blooms starting to pop up all over the Park.

This hike will take you on a journey down the Hickory Nut Falls trail and down the Four Seasons trail. Transportation to the top lot will be provided. For more information visit ChimneyRockPark.com

Reminder that the Park will be closed today so that our staff can spend the day with their families. We will be open the remainder of the week, the Ticket Plaza is open 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, and guests can hike until 6:00 pm.
