Last Saturday, we got together to celebrate Memorial Day with hamburgers and hotdogs and all the favorite side dishes and desserts. The food was great and so was the weather for a change. Taylor, one of our newest members, provided music on the piano. And last, but certainly not least, we took time to remember those who gave their lives in service to our country as well as to recognize the veterans in our community. Thanks to the organizers and all who assisted.

Thanks to all who attended the Easter Dinner last Sunday The weather was definitely better than on Saturday. The food was delicious and several prizes were awarded to the winners of the Easter bonnet contest. Thanks to all for preparing food and helping with the cleanup. Seventeen people braved the 45 degree temperature and brutal wind to attend the St. Patrick's Day Dinner last Saturday. The food was great as well as the music provided by Marc. The fireplace and propane heaters came in handy! Many thanks to Melinda and Mary who organized the event and to all those who brought food and helped to set up. Recently, some of the ladies of the park enjoyed time together at the pavilion for a lesson ín crafts, "A Dollar Tree Summer Wreath" with Mary and Melinda as instructors. Materials were graciously provided by Mary. They hope to offer another class or two this summer. Nice work ladies!

What a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner! We had 32 members present! Good food and great fellowship! After dinner, our Park crafters had a great variety of crafters to show! Due to the Tropical system coming through our area, plans have changed. The Thanksgiving Potluck has been moved to Saturday, at 12:00 noon and the Craft show will be right after about 2:00 until.
