If you are staying in Blairsville (especially at our cabins) during July 20th (Sat) and 21st (Sun), we invite you to attend the 21st Annual Butternut Creek Art Festival. It's less than a ten minute drive from here and admission is FREE to the public!

This event showcases products like basketry, fine art, fabric art, and decorative painting, to glass, jewelry, metal working, photography, pottery, scrimshaw, and woodturning etc.

We have enjoyed serving each and every one of you and are thrilled to know that you're creating your best memories at our place!

This solar eclipse has been the best problem Blairsville's had since The Squatch was sighted over 45 years ago! 😱😂

In all seriousness, though, we're asking everyone that's coming to Blairsville, whether at our cabins or not, to please be here way ahead of time. We don't have 16-lane highways to accommodate everyone and we're tossing the idea of shutting down the roads and detouring everyone else!

Please plan ahead, be safe, wear your approved solar eclipse glasses, and please visit and patronize all of our local businesses in Blairsville. We look forward to having you look towards the heavens!

What kind of things go on here while staying at our cabins? Well, if you were here today through the end of the week, you would be visiting the Blue Ridge Community Theater (Mar 10-12 @ 7:30 pm, Sunday @ 2:00 pm) and enjoying a Southern Fried Funeral, written by Osborne and Eppler, and produced by Joey Roderick.

Set in the small Mississippi town of New Edinburgh, the play’s action takes place over several days in August during the funeral of Dewey Frye, who dropped dead in the middle of a joke to the Rotarians during their dinner meeting. His wife, Dorothy, is faced with dealing with funeral arrangements, the realities of widowhood and a crazy assemblage of family, both real and imagined.
