Preparation for winter continues at Yellowstone Lake State Park. After a busy summer and fall building a new shower building, adding a new kayak pier, park staff worked to improve the water system and even repaved the campground hill. Wow what a year and we, the Friends group, were able to contribute in many ways.

The gun deer hunting season starts Saturday in some areas of the park. Special maps are available at the park office.
