The time has come for Deborah and me to head to our next adventure! As of this weekend we are saying goodbye to the motel we have called home for the last 18+ years. In the next few months we will move to our property (Zócalo) here in Blanco. Our plan is to take some time to take a breather, possibly travel, build a home, & look for that new opportunity. We will miss all the daily happenings of the motel and meeting folks from all over the world. For those of you who are wondering about RalphStock, keep wondering. I see no reason why it would not continue here, but it could go “On the Road.” The new owners, Michael Colaninni and his partners will be steering the motel towards it’s 100th birthday in 2032. We are looking forward to hearing all their new adventures. To all the customers, friends, employees, former employees, and most of all to the people of Blanco, Texas, Deborah and I thank you. There is no way we could have had the success we have enjoyed without you!
