Deep summer is when laziness finds respectability. Come be lazy on our back patio and enjoy watching summer’s entertainment. Birds, flowers, enjoy the shade from trees swaying in the breeze and even a bunny may come by to say hi.

Summer time fun for me begins when my grandsons arrive. For the two weeks they are here it is non stop summer adventures. Lake swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking, to tree climbing, rock wall climbing, festival shopping and rides, horse back riding and swimming in Blissfield’s beautiful community pool. But they did slow down enough to enjoy grandma’s house, swinging on the front porch and bird watching on the patio. Did I mention their opportunity to meet Miss Michigan when she stayed at the Inn?
You too can slow down and enjoy the Ellis Inn porch and back patio. Come relax with us, there are many days of summer left to enjoy.
