Miss princess skeleton had to come in out of the rain. She enjoyed visiting with her witch friend( who doesn’t fly too well) and rocking in the comfy rocker. It is always soothing to sit on the front porch and listen to the rain.

What has the skeleton been doing?Absolutely nothing, just swinging on the front porch while I put the pumpkins out. This year is very different. The flowers are blooming again and with the sun shinning on the pumpkins it is a beautiful sight. I guess the Skeleton is just enjoying the cool mornings and warm afternoons here in Michigans early fall weather.

The Story of Lucinda

Lucinda Carpenter was the wife of David Carpenter. David owned all the land around his house and the Ellis house. As the story is told, Lucinda died in child birth and since her death her spirit has been unsettled. Her spirit has been seen and felt at the Carpenter house many times. When the owners of the Carpenter house made the Ellis house into a bed and breakfast they gave Lucinda a room here in hopes she would move. Some guests, who have stayed in Lucinda’s room, and only women, have felt her spirit and some have even said they have seen her. But don’t worry, if u stay in her room, she has never made any one feel unwelcome. Skeleton had a good nights sleep.
