You’ll cross the Wabash River on the iconic Montezuma B&O Walking Bridge before heading into the beautiful wooded trails of Vermillion County. Every registration also helps VTA expand and improve local trail opportunities.

Are you looking for a weekend getaway? We have our beautiful cabins opened this month!

Cabin 1 & 2- These cabins sleep up to three people, and is pet friendly. Both of these cabins have a small loft.

Cabin 3-This cabins sleep up to 6 people. This cabin has beds on both stories. Has a beautiful porch looking at the lake.

Cabin 4-This cabin sleeps up to 9 people, has beds on both stories. Also a beautiful porch with a swing and a very private place to cook your food and hang out!

Cabin 5 & 6- These cabins sleep up to three people each. The best part about this cabin is that it has a swin that is right on the water for your early morning coffee or your late night marshmallows!

Cabin 7 & 8- These two cabins sleep up to two people, perfect for a weekend with your special someone. Both are pet friendly and they have a swing with a canopy over them on the water as well!

Cabin 9-This cabin sleeps up to 10 people. has a beautiful dining room table, homemade furniture, and two porches one on the first story and one on the second story!

Cabin 10 & 11- These 2 cabin sleeps up to 6 people! With either one bug bed or two bunkbeds and a loft for the kids!

Cabin 12- This cabin sleeps up to four people has one bunkbed and a small table. This cabin also has a loft.

Here is a recent post we are sharing to update you on recent conditions from all of the rain happening.

ADVISORY - Sugar Creek is currently 5’ above normal. The park will continue to monitor creek levels and trail conditions throughout today and the weekend. Pine Hills Nature Preserve located within Shades State Park is closed due to the flooding of Indian and Clifty creeks. The remaining trails at both Turkey Run and Shades are open with the exception of trail # 7 at both properties. ALL TRAILS ARE EXTREMELY MUDDY AND SLIPPERY DUE TO THE EXCESSIVE RAIN FALL.
