It’s a rainy fall morning. Cozy slippers guide you down the open staircase to the coffee bar. You brew a hot cup and sort through the cute mugs. The smell is intoxicating, and just your luck - they’re got pumpkin pie syrup in the carousel. Perfect.

You step outside onto the wraparound porch. Your husband pats the seat beside him, and the butterflies in your stomach flutter like your first date. You feel the steam on your face as you take that magical first sip. Warmth ripples through your core out to your toes. The birds sound like a chorus, and you watch the tree branches bounce near you as a squirrel hops limb to limb. You wonder when the last time was that you got to enjoy a perfect slow morning. And you’re so grateful to have 6 more mornings like this to wake up to.
