TA-GA-SOKE Campgrounds Ta-Ga-Soke Campgrounds 2025 season begins on Friday April 25 and ends on Monday October 13 Ta-Ga-Soke Campgrounds is one of many New York State campgrounds.

It is nestled on the banks of Fish Creek, two miles from the village of Sylvan Beach, NY and Oneida Lake. Sylvan Beach NY is located on the eastern end of Oneida Lake, between Syracuse and Utica, NY. Fish Creek flow's out to the Erie Canal and on to Oneida Lake. Making Oneida Lake accessible by boat from the campground. The campground has 211 sites some pull-thru and tent sites on 33 acres. All th

e sites have fire ring and picnic tables. Sixteen of the sites are occupied with our camping cabins. The campgrounds store is stocked with groceries, fishing licenses and supplies, LP gas, RV supplies, and a variety of other items. Bird's Nest Cafe, located at the campground, is open on Friday and Saturday evening offering fish dinners, pizza, and other snack foods. On Sunday morning you can enjoy our Breakfast Buffet while you relax with your newspaper. We also have pontoon boat, paddle boat, and canoes. Please visit our website for pricing details. For everyone's enjoyment we have planned activities, a playground, volleyball and basketball courts and horseshoe pits. Our Rec. Room contains an assortment of video games, jukebox, and pool table. For our golf enthusiasts, we have a driving range located across the road. Clubs and golf balls are available for a small nominal fee. Please visit our website for full listing of the activities schedule. The campground is located two miles from Sylvan Beach Amusement Park. For those interested in sight seeing Erie Canal Village, Fort Stanwix, Turning Stone Casino are a few of the many things to see while in the area. Many fine restaurants are also just a short drive form the campground for your dinning pleasure.

Dick and I would like to thank all of our campers who have camped with us over the last 30+ years. It has been a great time but time for us to retired. We appreciate all your support over the years. We are still around not going anywhere. Thank you for being good friends and family.

In addition to being opened on Saturday April 19th we will also be opened on Friday April 18th. Both days from 9-3.

Good morning! We are opening the store on Saturday and Sunday March 29th and 30th from 9-3. This will be for payments and check ins only. We are encouraging everyone to stop in even if you have paid your site to do your check in paper work and active your gate cards. We are also going to be opened on Saturday April 19 from 9-3. only. This is Easter weekend so Saturday will be it till opening day Friday April 25 th. This will give you a chance to bring campers in or just clean up your sites from the winter. It’s getting closer to camping can’t wait to see everyone!
