Old 86 Saturday Night Bass Tournament Old 86 Saturday night fishing tournament.(Formerly ran by Max Nichols and Grady Fusion. $42 entry fee per boat.

Membership optional
$20 optional sidepot. 1 place paid per every 5 boats capped at 6. 100% paybacks. 7PM to 1 AM.

Due to it being Labor Day weekend we wanted to remind everyone that there is NOT a tournament this weekend! Only 1 regular season qualifying event left! If you are planning to use a buy in($42)it MUST BE PAID AT THE NEXT EVENT OR YOU WILL NOT QUALIFY.

Going into this tournament EVERY angler must have a minimum of 6 fished to qualify. With 6 fished you have 1 option:

Fish last event and utilize your (additional $42 on top of entry)buy in at registration.

If you have 7 fished :

Fish last event or utilize ($42 buy in) before or at the ramp during registration period.

💥 45 Boat Field 💥 ( Biggest Night Tournament on Table Rock this year)

We wanted to beat last weeks numbers and y’all did just that! What a turnout! We had several new anglers, had a few kids, and we had one team in particular it was their first tournament ever and we are happy that we could have the honor of being the series that got to host and share that experience. We hope everyone had a good time and are grateful y’all spent your Saturday with us on the water. 45 teams hit the water last night. It was a warm afternoon that fell into a nice night on Table Rock. Feedback and chatter building up to weigh in was it was pretty tough last night. Our weights were down from our normal season and it was tight! Some good August bags and bass were weighed. Good job to everyone who brought in limits and those who made the checkline. We also appreciate everyone who lent a hand in fish care and making sure fish were being released and swimming off healthy, that means a lot to us. When these tournaments get big every little bit helps! With weights being tight, topping the scales with 15.98 taking home first place and the side pot went to the team of Sean Brashears and Cody Sisco. Good job guys nice bag 👊🏻

Welcome back all. We hope the week is treating you well and that all kids have had good first days/weeks back to school. We are nearing the end of the regular season and qualifying events. We put out the qualifier list yesterday along with the ways to qualify based on your number of events fished. Take a look at that and make sure if you need to do buy ins you get them in on or before the last event. We had a heck of a turnout last Saturday let’s see if we can beat that this week. Please continue to put your best efforts in with fish care . Fill with well water if possible, ice your water down, use Gerald Swindle / GMAN’s G-Juice to treat that water and follow it up with Mike Iaconelli’s Buzzer Rocks for the additional essential vitamins, amino acids, and oxygen the fish need while in the box. The best deals I’ve found for these are on Tackle Warehouse. I will also this weekend again have some of the new Slabz Crappie rods on in the elite series on the deck of my boat. Come take a look at em, you will want some of these in October and we can get ya set up! See ya Saturday!

Good Morning everyone. Here is the updated championship qualifier list. The names on this list are the ones who are eligible or have the opportunity. Just because it says “NO” on your eligibility today does not mean you can’t still make it in the last 2 events plus your 1 buy in. These are updated as of the 8-22-26 tournament and you got credit if you fished the FFA tournament at cricket. Some have more than 8, I quit tracking after that.

‼️YOUR BUY INS ARE DUE IN THE NEXT 2 EVENTS. WILL NOT TAKE A BUY IN AFTER REGISTRATION OF FINAL EVENT ON 9-12-26‼️

Here are the ways to qualify:

8- You’re Safe
7- fish 1 of 2 events left or Buy In
6- fish last 2 events or fish 1/ buy in
5- fish last 2 events AND Buy in

41 Boat Field

Man what a turnout! 41 boat field makes this our largest tournament this year! If I’m not mistaken, the largest night tournament on Table Rock this year. It was hot and muggy and those afternoon showers came through and made for a beautiful August night of fishin. With a little lower weights this week it was still a tight one per usual. There were several good bass weighed. One big thing you can notice is this week was several quality brownies were weighed. As stated already 41 teams battled it out and topping the scales taking home 1st Place and the Sidepot went to the team of Ethan Grubaugh and Bradley Walker with 15.88! Good job and good bag fellers👊🏻. Our big bass honors went to Alpha-Susan Taylor and Kenny Howerton with a 5.08 👊🏻 and big brownie went to White River Anglers Joe Nothum and John Hill with a 3.66 👊🏻. There was a tie for hog Gog and earliest entry broke that going to the team of Billy Santana and Trenton Ray. Overall heck of a tournament . Thanks to all who spent their time at the courtesy dock takin care of fish and getting them fizzed. We appreciate that more than you know. I will post a list this week of qualified and ones who can still qualify the championship. 2 events left and remember we all have a buy in we can utilize. We’ll see y’all next weekend. Good Morning everyone! We hope everyone’s work week is going well and that you’re thoughts are starting to linger to Saturday on the water with us at Old 86! A lot of kids have went back or fixing to start back to school. We hope you guys have a fantastic and safe year. We have enjoyed having all the youth anglers this summer. Keep bringing them to finish the season out! With only 3 events some are getting down to the wire with qualifying for the championship.

It was another barn burner on Table Rock last night. That August heat has definitely set in. I took some photos of the Parking lot at Old 86 and it’s been a long time since I’ve seen it that packed. The place was filled with smiles, laughter, tall tales, and most important good fellowship. Regardless of the heat, 35 teams tackled the heat and hit the water for some spending money and checking the boxes to make the championship in the fall. There were several good bass weighed for big bass as well. The weights got close goin through the checkline! Topping the scales with 17.26 with a 5.88 kicker claiming 1st Place, Big Bass, and the Sidepot fishing solo went to John Wegrzyn. Good job buddy heck of a bag 👊🏻. Check that weigh sheet tie for 5th place . Big fish broke that tie and it was close ! Drew Tabor and Brock Tabor brought in a lunker of a goggle eye weighing .86 claiming that prize pot ! Overall heck of a turnout and tournament! For everyone that was first timers, we welcome you, hope you enjoyed your time, and hope ya come back and see us!

‼️Reminder‼️
When it’s this hot please fizz your fish during the tournament. Do your best to care for your fish until weigh in. When you release your fish , don’t just dump them . Turn them lose one at a time so you can manage catching them to fizz them again and give them the best opportunity to swim off! We saved a bunch last night! We can always be better! Thank you to everyone who was in the water and laid out on the courtesy Dock needling fish while the weigh in took place. Takes a team to run one of these and it’s very appreciated!

Happy Wednesday folks! We hope everyone is having a great week, it’s been a hot one so far with what appears to be the prediction the rest of the week. Nothin crazy this week, we are getting close to the end of the season. As mentioned above, we only have 4 events left. Ask at registration how many events you have fished. Remember everyone has 1 buy in they can utilize. Must have 8 fished tournaments and a paid membership to be eligible for the championship. We encourage everyone, even if you won’t make the championship this year, come finish the season with us , we’d love to have ya! We’ll see y’all at the ramp Saturday!

‼️Fish Care‼️

Its gonna be hot folks, please do your best with taking care of your fish during the tournament. Use well water, ice, Gerald Swindle / GMAN’s G-Juice or Mike Iaconelli’s Buzzer Rocks. You can order both of these items at a good price at Tackle Warehouse. Make sure your fizzing needles are clean and functioning as well as your livewells. When it’s time to weigh in, give us your chip before 1 AM and watch the weigh in line, keep your fish in that cool treated water as long as you can!

It was another hot day and afternoon that slid into a very enjoyable cool night on Table Rock. The wind howled pretty good last night but that very well could have paved the way to the success of many anglers who brought fish to scales last night. Good job to all anglers who made the check line last night. We had a couple of returning kids last night, we sure love to see it! Topping the scales last night with 17.70 and a 4.72 kicker claiming the 1st Place W, big bass, and the Side Pot went to the team of Bill Brewer and Jonathan Gregory. Good job guys and nice bag! We also had a Tie on the goggle eye pot that rolled over from last week and that tie was broken off earliest entry! Some close weights for sure! Thanks to everyone who helped with releasing fish last night during the weigh in it’s much appreciated. We’ll see y’all next Saturday!

Y’all gettin the itch yet? We sure are! It’s goin down again this weekend at Old 86! That championship is getting closer and closer ! Counting the tournament this weekend there are 5 events left! Remember you have to have a paid membership by your 3rd fished event and 8 fished tournaments to qualify! Each member has 1 buy in as well! If you are unsure of how many you have fished, ask me when you sign up! To new anglers that want to fish or come see what it’s all about, unfortunately you will not be able to make the championship this year but we’d still love to have and welcome you to come share the water with us the rest of the season !

‼️Fish Care‼️

Please continue to put your best foot forward! If possible fill your livewells with well water, ice your livewell water. Treat it with Gerald Swindle / GMAN’s G-Juice as well as Mike Iaconelli’s Buzzer Rocks! Check Tackle Warehouse for the buzzer rocks! If you need help fizzing a fish or aren’t comfortable with it, please come ask me and I’d be more than willing to help make sure you know how moving forward and that all fish swim off !

‼️Weigh Ins‼️

Due to this being a self funded tournament, 100% Payback, limited resources, limited time, and a consistent 2 person staff, I wanted to reiterate one thing. I only have to have your boat chip accounted for before 1 AM. If you see a long line at the scales, leave your fish in your livewell in that cool treated water until that line dwindles. You are NOT REQUIRED to stand in line with your fish in a weigh bag for a lengthy amount of time. Our weigh ins go pretty quick usually but things can happen. I always call “ anymore fish” 2 or 3 times and wait a few minutes before I close the scales. As long as your chip is accounted for and you come forward before the scales close I will weigh you, GUARANTEED.

‼️Tournament Scales‼️

The scales have been fixed. We will also have a set of back ups this weekend. I wanted to make a point here and express that while last weekend wasn’t ideal, using my bubba scales was my only option. Everyone was weighed the same way and it was consistent all the way across the board. I have and always will do a re weigh if I feel something doesn’t look right or if an angler asks us to. No one is perfect and sometimes technology fails us.
