The Overlook Guest House Blue Rapids

This morning I watched the Price Is Right a minute or so. They were giving away a trip to Napa and I thought, Awesome, I was just there! Blue Rapids Auto & Hardware has it all :)

Did you know that our beautiful 1904 limestone building was the original home of the telephone company in Blue Rapids? This switchboard was along the east wall of the present day living room. When we remodeled we could see the hole in the floor where all of the cables came in and found many repair slips (notes) that slipped between the wall and the mop board, likely where the waste basket was located. On the outside of the building you can see a cement patch about 13 feet up where the wires entered.

The word is out and, like some small-town talk, some of it is incorrect! We want to reassure our guests that The Overlook Guest House in Blue Rapids remains fully open for business, even though our property is currently listed for sale.
Restoring this Historic Square property has given us an excellent location for hosting visitors and events, but it is only the first step of our dream to attract a professional service provider (such as a lawyer, accountant, or insurance agent) to our community. Because this is a unique commercial property, we anticipate that finding the perfect buyer could take some time. Therefore, we decided to actively market our building while continuing to do what we do best.
We remain completely committed to offering a premium, Five-Star stay on the Historic Square in Blue Rapids, KS. Please visit our website at www.overlookbr.com to find our contact information, view our accommodations, and get in touch with us directly. You can also message us via Facebook Messenger. We truly appreciate your continued support and look forward to hosting you on your next visit to our area!
