We are hiring and looking for the perfect Guest Services Associate (Part-Time)

Hours: Two shifts available: Morning or Evening. (7:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m, OR 12:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. for four weekdays and some weekends. Some flexibility required based on occupancy.)

Old Town Bluffton Inn is seeking a Part-Time Guest Services Associate to support afternoon and evening operations. This position is perfect for a hospitality professional who enjoys independent work, guest interaction, and providing calm, attentive service during evening hours. Some alternating weekends and flexibility to adjust to business needs.

Key Responsibilities
● Serve as the primary front desk representative during afternoon and evening shifts
● Perform guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and professionally
● Assist guests with requests, local recommendations, and special needs
● Answer phones and manage guest communications
● Process payments and maintain accurate guest records
● Coordinate with housekeeping and on-call management as needed
● Light tidy work to maintain cleanliness of lobby and snack area
● Comfortable serving complimentary welcome beverages
● Assist with end-of-day and closing procedures and prepare night audit
Qualifications
● Prior hotel or front desk experience required
● Must have 3 years in a professional environment
● Friendly, reliable, and guest-focused
● Comfortable working independently
● Strong communication and problem-solving skills
● Availability for weekends, holidays, and occasional additional shifts based on hotel occupancy
What We Offer
• Competitive pay: The hourly range for this position is $17.00 per hour - $23.00 per hour, commiserate with experience.
