In December 2014, my husband and I purchased the heart of what was once a large German farm and ranch. Over the next seven years, we dedicated ourselves to restoring the original farmhouse, built in the 1930s.
After completing the farmhouse, we transformed a 30+-year-old work shed into a fully equipped 800 sq. ft. guest house. The master bedroom features a king-size bed and a full-size closet, while the den includes a queen-size fold-out couch, with fresh bedding conveniently stored in the hall closet.
Guests can enjoy a spa-style bathroom with a walk-in shower and luxuriously soft towels. The kitchen is stocked with full-size, modern appliances and essentials for a comfortable stay.
Outside, relax on the private guest house deck or gather around the fire pit for a cozy evening under the stars.
