Fall is in the air over here in southeast Iowa, and we are super excited about our upcoming fall retreats! Junior Retreat for kids in grades 2-5 is on October 30-31, and the Teen Retreat for kids in grades 6-12 wraps up our 2026 camp season on November 6-7. Head on over to the website to access the registration forms via online and printable.
Fall retreats are always a great time for summer campers to get another taste of camp mid-school year as well as a great way to introduce camp to friends and those just getting old enough to attend. Got questions? Read our FAQs found at this link, and as always feel free to reach out with any other questions.

Also wanted to give you a sneak peak and idea of what some of our vendors will have for sale at the Ladies Retreat.
Arkansas Clay Co. will have some really cute earrings. (See the comments for up close pictures)
Sweet Appelique will have a special $10 shirt sale.
Mrs. Ruth Bumgardner will have her table with the Prayer Notebook System and other encouraging items.
And we'll have our camp merchandise available as well... hoodies, shirts, hats, bibles, mugs...
So much to choose from, so be sure to bring some extra cash and get some of your Christmas shopping done early. 😁😉

Well, looks like the weather forecast has changed a bit since my last post, but.... the plans to enjoy ourselves at the Ladies Retreat has not. 🥰 We'll have plenty of warm drinks available, so don't let the chilly, wet weather keep you away. We would love for you to even just come for the day on Saturday if the full retreat just doesn't work for you, for one reason or another. $25 covers all day Saturday. $15 if Friday night is all you have available. Shoot us a message if you have any questions.

We are excited about the Ladies Retreat that begins in just 1 week from today! The weather forecast is looking amazing! 🥳 But come rain or shine, we still plan to have a great time together fellowshipping, eating, and spending time in God's Word. ❤️
One update on the extra craft. Due to a supplier error, the print on the canvas bag that we'll be painting had to change to a floral pattern. It's the same overall bag and craft... just a slightly different print. (See picture)
Let us know if you're coming or have any questions.

We wanted to take a minute and introduce you to our Ladies Retreat speaker, Mrs. Kaity Gellos. Kaity is the devoted wife of Evangelist Brent Gellos and the mother to 6 great kids. This sweet gal will leave a delightful, lasting impression once you meet, and her godly insites into the scripture will challenge your walk with the Lord.
Here's a sneak peak from Kaity: "What does it look like to be loved with an everlasting love? How should this affect my everyday life and who God made me, as a woman, to be? Join us for a time of refreshment and encouragement as we look into God’s Word for answers to these and other questions."
Want to learn more about Kaity and her husband's/family's ministry? Head on over to their website: https://www.brentgellos.com/
Still need to register for the retreat? Head on over our our website to register online or print off a form. https://lwf.camp/2026-events/be-still-ladies-retreat/
