From little bows, lollipops, and twirling dresses to becoming the beautiful, kind, intelligent young woman you are today, it has been one of life’s greatest blessings to watch you grow. You’ve filled our days with laughter, creativity, adventures, and so much love.

You have always had a heart for others, a love for learning, and a quiet strength that shines through everything you do. Whether you’re reading a good book, creating art, exploring the beach or preparing for the exciting adventures ahead, you continue to amaze us.

As you step into adulthood, never forget that the little girl you once were is still part of the incredible woman you’re becoming. Hold on to her wonder, her curiosity, and her joy.

📚🍎 Flashback Friday 🍎📚

Today we’re stepping back to the 1954–1955 school year and celebrating what appears to be Mrs. Smith’s 1st Grade Class here at Northside School!

Can you imagine walking through these halls with a lunch pail in hand, practicing penmanship on a chalkboard, and eagerly waiting for recess with your classmates? These students helped write a small piece of Northside’s history over 70 years ago.

We love preserving these memories and sharing the stories of the children who once filled our classrooms with laughter, learning, and a little bit of mischief.

We have officially declared it summer at Northside School Bed & Breakfast!

The pool is open, the sunshine is here, and long afternoons filled with swimming, relaxing, and making memories are officially underway. Whether you’re floating in the pool, enjoying a good book on the deck, or ending the day in the hot tub, summer at the schoolhouse is one of our favorite seasons.

🍓❤️ Little Hands, Sweet Memories ❤️🍓

Today Bradley traded screens for strawberries and spent the day helping Grandma make homemade strawberry jam. From washing berries to stirring the pot and filling jars, he was proud to be part of every step.

There’s something special about learning old-fashioned skills from the people who love us most. The kitchen was filled with laughter, stories, and the sweet smell of strawberries bubbling away on the stove.

These are the moments we hope our children remember—not just the jam, but the time spent together, the lessons learned, and the love poured into every jar.

This week’s trip down memory lane takes us back to Miss Le Poidevin’s Second Grade here at the old Northside School!

Spruce Lake never disappoints — crystal clear water, mountain reflections, and the kind of peace you can only find deep in the Idaho wilderness.

Whether you’re spending the day hiking, soaking in the sunshine, or simply breathing in the mountain air, this little alpine lake feels like stepping into another world.

One more reason we love calling North Idaho home.
