Great review leading into what is going to be a record year for travel to WV, I can tell. Everything, including gasoline, is costing more than ever but people are clearly still traveling to Southern WV and I am here for it!

I cannot say enough good things about our stay. The views are incredible, it’s super quiet and peaceful (even though you are close to other neighbors, it doesn’t feel that way when you’re on the property). There are so many amazing places to relax outside and the inside of the house was clean, decorated so well and Beth added so many cute touches to make you feel right at home. Beth was an amazing host- super responsive, friendly and accommodating. We loved our 30 min scenic drive to Fayetteville - the town is adorable with so many great shops and restaurants. We loved the scenic stops we made on the way back to see the Gorge and waterfalls. We will be back for sure! This place is a GEM!

Rolling full steam ahead into our 6th summer season at Rose River Cottage, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

April is almost completely booked—just the last 5 days remain—and every summer weekend is full except for June 12–18. We’re blown away by the continued support.

With 224 reviews and a 4.98-star rating, being named a Guest Favorite and maintaining Superhost status every quarter since we opened means so much to us. But what really stands out this past year is the number of repeat guests. Seeing so many of you come back again and again reminds us why we do this.

We truly believe we have the best neighbors and the best little community anywhere, and it’s an honor to welcome guests from all over the state, country, and even the world to experience it.

Thank you to everyone who has stayed with us, supported us, or shared Rose River Cottage with others. It never goes unnoticed.

We’re also working behind the scenes on something new to create an even more unique experience for our guests. If it comes together the way we’re hoping, we’d love to expand it to other local Short Term Rentals—and eventually the community as a whole.
