he light, the space, the landscape. amenities are thoughtfully selected with an eye on natural materials and ingredients, ecological impact, and the pleasure they provide. while you’re here, we invite you to BE here. the rooms have no tv or phones, and internet service is unpredictable. this is a rural roadhouse, where we put our energy into clean, comfortable beds, fresh, expertly prepared food, and friendly, down to earth staff. for guests who are used to a busier, fussier lodging experience, our style will be a change of pace. we suggest you give it a try. enjoy the bed, the food, the people. enjoy the garden and grounds, the town and surrounds. together these elements create a lodging experience you won’t find anywhere else.

Sunday june 14th - 16th:
An Artisan Leather Craft Retreat with Brittany from !!

Come enjoy the delights of early-summer and make beautiful things…

Over two days we will:
• We will create a gorgeous leather clutch/wallet and keychain
• We’ll get to enjoy a Perry made seasonal paella dinner at the Boonville Hotel
• Monday morning at our clubhouse space known as the Shed,  crafting a beautiful leather wallets and keychains.
• followed by lunch in the hotel courtyard
• Spend the afternoon exploring Boonville or simply relaxing
• Rejoin us for late afternoon Qigong in the garden 
• Then sit down to a 4 course prix fixe dinner on a beautiful early summer evening, followed by music in by the bonfire, under the stars.
• Return Tuesday morning to complete your clutch/wallet and keychain- and off we’ll go with our new delights!

Paella Season begins Memorial Day weekend, Sunday, May 24th!!

This year we’re adding an afternoon lunch paella service to give day trippers a chance to come enjoy the experience!!

We’re so excited to see all you fabulous people in the courtyard, enjoying a luxurious summer paella with all the gorgeous food from the local farms.

spring flowers, farms & food retreat!!
May 1-3rd
Come join us for a weekend celebrating farms and flowers in the Anderson Valley.
You’ll learn about some of our favorite local farms, the blossoms they grow, meet the extraordinary farmers, and watch a few demonstrations on how they build their gorgeous bouquets ... all paired with beautiful meals from start to finish.
We’ll begin Friday evening with a specially curated spring menu.
On Saturday morning, after breakfast,
we’ll head to
for a tour with Annie Courtens,
their remarkable farm manager, followed by a flower-arranging demonstration, with details on what they grow and how.
Then we’ll return to the hotel garden for a picnic lunch.
Later that afternoon,
we’ll visit
to meet the goats and their new kids, and enjoy a relaxed wine and cheese tasting.
After a bit of rest,
Saturday night is yours to settle in for :
Perry’s five-course prix fixe dinner
followed by music by the bonfire.
On Sunday morning,
after breakfast and checkout, we’ll head to
the Philo Apple Farm
for a tour, then finish the weekend with a hands-on demonstration with Karen Bates—getting to know the family’s favorite trees, shrubs and the spring flowers they produce to make their gorgeous flower arrangements.

The Seed and Scion Exchange is happening this weekend at the fairgrounds put on by the Anderson Valley Food Shed… An epic group of farmers and gardeners coming together!
The plum trees are bursting.
Perry’s spring menus are happening.
And then there’s always a good comfortable bed to enjoy.

Oh, we are so grateful. What a beautiful weekend. Thank you for everyone who came for our wellness retreat, you were all a delight.

the Karen, Polly and Jerzy made- delicious lunch

in a beautiful environment, with great food and people.
Over the weekend you will:
• Make your own pair of sandals with Rachel Corry
• Craft a custom leather bag with
Brittany Davis .

• Work in intimate groups of 6–8, Saturday and Sunday

Come settle in for a Japanese arts and craft weekend—hands in ink, dye, and thread—paired with delicious food, a beautiful environment, and amazing artists!
Over two days you will take classes with three different Artisans: • An Indigo Dyeing Workshop
with Shibori resist techniques,
taught by Meredith Brion. 
• The art of Suminagashi, Japanese Water Marbling, taught  by Solange Roberdeau.
• The versatile Japanese stitching and embroidery technique Sashiko, taught by Lindsay Hansen of the Future Past.
