As part of our Artists in Residence program, we're excited to feature the work of Boston artist Lonnie Ash. Through expressive watercolor and oil paintings, Lonnie captures the architecture, atmosphere, and everyday beauty of Boston's waterfront, revealing how light and weather shape the places we know best.

A member of the Fort Point Arts Community, Lonnie has exhibited his work throughout the region and across the country, including a recent exhibition at the Edward Hopper House Museum. He continues to create from his Fort Point studio, just moments from our historic building.

Laura Davidson joins our Artists in Residence program for the 125th Anniversary Exhibition curated by the Fort Point Arts Community.

Her collage and painting practice builds from a simple starting point, an image, word, or idea, then evolves through layered paint, paper, and found vintage materials. Working intuitively, she develops each piece over time, allowing color, texture, and form to guide the final composition.

With a background in graphic design and art education, Laura now works from her studio, drawing inspiration from flea markets and everyday materials that become the foundation for her layered visual work.
