The Boston Symphony Orchestra recently appointed Earl Lee as the new Assistant Conductor!

Earl Lee is completing his tenure this month with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, where he has held the position of associate conductor since September 2018. Previously resident conductor of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra from 2015 to 2018, Mr. Lee has performed for audiences worldwide as both a conductor and accomplished cellist.

His conducting engagements have included appearances with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse, New Japan Philharmonic, Gangnam Symphony Orchestra, Toronto Symphony Orchestra, Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, and the Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra.

Premiere on Broadway will offer dinner, lunch, and weekend brunch, however will be starting off with dinner seven nights a week and Sunday brunch.

With former Eataly Executive Chef Dan Bazzinotti behind the stove, ex-Beehive bartender Martin Fernandez mixing drinks, 455 people capacity inside, and an additional 100 outdoors, Premiere on Broadway will be a game-changer for the area, and a new go-to destination for dining, drinks, and entertainment.

The Peabody Essex Museum recently announced its first annual PEM Prize to celebrate creative expression and civic engagement. The inaugural recipient of the PEM Prize and its $25,000 award is multidisciplinary Cuban artist Carlos Garaicoa!

Over the next year, Garaicoa will lead a series of events and civic engagement initiatives with the museum to coincide with the reopening of Partitura (August 1, 2021–February 6, 2022), the artist’s multisensory installation featuring 40 street musicians from around the world who enliven our cities through their creative expressions.

The Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art recently received a $51,000 Destination Development Capital (DDC) Grant from the Baker-Polito administration!

The DDC grants provide funding for projects that expand, construct, restore, or renovate Massachusetts tourism destinations and attractions, and aid in destination recovery and resiliency.

The Carle’s grant, which will directly benefit the 50,000 guests who typically visit the Museum each year, includes funds for outdoor directional signage, comfortable indoor seating, improved outdoor accommodations, and a tent.
