Meet Wilmar Betancur, one of One Dalton's skilled painters and true craftsmen. Since opening day, Wilmar's journey at Four Seasons One Dalton has been remarkably dynamic. With a background in food and beverage, he worked across varying outlets at One Dalton, starting at the hotel's former breakfast restaurant as one of its first servers. Wilmar later transitioned into Maintenance and Engineering as a Painter, the role he holds today. That breadth of experience has made him a multidimensional talent, one who brings a unique perspective to every role and a deep understanding of how each department contributes to the guest experience.

Originally from Colombia, Wilmar visited the United States and later moved to Boston in 2007, making the city his permanent home. His brother, Wilson Betancur, also works at Four Seasons One Dalton, where the two have built their careers in hospitality, from different vantage points.

What motivates Wilmar most is the guest experience, though not in the way most would expect. Rather than focusing on arrival, he pays closest attention to guest departure, watching for that quiet sense of satisfaction that tells him the collective effort of the team has done its job. It is in that moment, he says, that the dedication becomes worth it.
