Hello Pacific Skyline Council Troop/Crew/Ship Leadership,

What: We need a group of 12 min- 30 max in a mix of older Scouts (14+) and adults this weekend August 4-5 for a work party to prepare for the final stage of the campfire circle construction and completion

Bonus: You can stay at no cost for Friday, August 4- Sunday, August 6 morning for camping nights. You will need to bring and prepare your own food, however.

Additional Information: Please call the Foster City Scout Office and ask to speak with Adela to reserve your spot. Again, the maximum we can accommodate will be 30. Our office will be open on Monday 9am

Background: We need some help with an important project at Boulder Creek Scout Reservation this weekend August 4-5. We are at an important stage of our completion on the fire circle. For some of you, you know the past winter storm knocked down a tree that is in a significant part of the fire circle (see attached picture). We have been diligently removing portions of this tree from the campfire area and we need some extra hands to finish chipping, more sawing, removal of cut wood, weeding, removing trash, clearing out mud, Cub Scout proofing the work site and some light repair work to the stage. To get all of this done by Cub On (Aug 11) we need some help. We know it is last minute, but can we count on we count on a group 0f 12-30 people?

P.S. I am sending this email out twice (once on Sunday night and once on Monday morning) to reach the broadest range of folks.

I hope a few of you can provide service to Boulder Creek this coming weekend!

I think these and hats are the two things I collect most of in camp. These are only the ones that made it to the camp office, there are probably more in the maintenance building.

As many of you already know, I Ranger Miles, am moving on to other things. Pictured below is Ranger Philip, he'll be taking over for me. He's a good guy, be nice while he learns about camp.

Kitchen door got its window and handle last week. Now you can see who's on the other side before you swing to door into them.

Since I'm on vacation I stopped in and got some more patches for the camp collection. Thank you Stanton and Lokahi for the patches that you just can't find anymore.

Now all it needs is a little paint and a door handle and we'll be totally done. It'll be nice to have power on that wall.
