For those wondering how much snow we got, I believe we landed somewhere around 20-22 inches over the course of three days last weekend. Thankfully, warmer temps are on their way and will begin melting everything. I suspect John will be hauling some of the 13 foot pile behind Bluebill over to the U-Shaped pond for it to melt there. We open in 9 weeks! The countdown begins 🙏🏼❤️

Okay Y’all!! We are just starting to clear round 1 of this massive snowstorm. There is SO much snow up here! The snow is falling at about 1.5” - 2” of snow an hour. We had 7” fall last Friday. We got that cleared. Now there’s another 6” that were clearing now. I suspect we will be digging ourselves out for a couple of days lol. Enjoy the pics and video. I’ll post more as we take breaks from clearing the snow. We are running out of places to go with it! As you can see in the video, the pile behind Bluebill is currently about 10-11 FEET high. Crazy!

Happy May Day from the snowy Northwoods! Winter does not want to let go this year. Latest we have had measurable snow in the 18 years we have been managing the resort. 8 inches fell Saturday night and it has been snowing since. Still calling for 5-12 inches by tomorrow!

The good news is the ice is off the lake since we are putting docks in on Saturday! And the loon has also arrived.

The Boulder Junction Economic Development/Connect Communities Committee (BJEDCCC) was formed by the Town of Boulder Junction in 2016 with a mission to develop and promote economic opportunities and explore investment options supporting our strategic economic development objectives and activities to enhance ongoing community prosperity. The first step in creating a strategic plan to fulfill that mission was to gain insight from the community by creating a survey. The results from that 2016 survey have helped the BJEDCCC prioritize work groups, projects, and outreach for the past six years.
Since many things have changed since 2016, the BJEDCCC has created a new survey to gather opinions from both former and current residents, business owners, property owners, visitors, and others with a vested interest in Boulder Junction regarding the town’s current economy, to determine if there is a desire for economic change.
You can take the survey only one time per person. The survey should take between 10-25 minutes to complete, depending upon the answers given. At the end of the survey, you will be given the opportunity to enter into a drawing to win one of ten $25 Coontail gift cards.
If you don’t have a computer or internet access at home to take the survey, you are welcome to utilize the computers at the Boulder Junction Public Library during regular library hours Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 10 am to 4 pm; Tuesday and Thursday 10 am to 7 pm; and Saturday 10 am to 1 pm.
